Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, New YorkIt's that time again! Each September, the Spring/Summer collections for the following year are showcased by the best designers in America and from around the world and are presented under tents at Bryant Park, New York City. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week features more than 60 fashion shows, which are attended by thousands of journalists, editors, producers, buyers and celebrity guests. I'm excited to be attending once again. When I come back, I'll be sharing with you the high-style fashion trends!

The list of designers is long. A few names (that have also been featured in this web site) include BCBGMAXAZRIA, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Donna Karan New York, and Michael Kors. The Spring 2010 "Merceds-Benz Presents" Designer is Narciso Rodriguez. Known for his sleek and sculpted fashion design, Narciso is being recognized and supported for his dedication to quality materials, unique style and innovative design.

The Accessories Exhibit returns, transforming the Main Lobby into a veritable gallery filled with beautiful collections of handbags, jewelry, watches and more. A few names: Alex Soldier, Ambrosi Abrianna, Bindya NY, Isharya, Judith Ripka, Lisa Kornman, and Lulu Frost. Maybelline will demonstrate behind the scenes make-up tips.

Also of interest: Showing once again that "Green is the new Black," Clear Magazine will debut a special tree-free, 100% recyclable fall fashion issue during Fashion Week. QVC teams up with the CFDA to create "Designer Charms for Charity" to benefit Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, commemorating 15 Years of the worldwide initiative.
