The school year is coming to and end and once again I am looking forward to my favorite part of the year—summer. The relaxed vibe of summer carries over into our wardrobes with an emphasis on shorts, cool tops, and summer dresses for great casual looks.
It’s time to make Bermuda shorts the staple part of your everyday look. These longer shorts are the most versatile item in our wardrobes. I love these shorts because you can wear them with a comfy t-shirt and flat sandals for trips to the zoo or amusement park with the kids. You can pair them with a cute top and wedges to go shopping or to lunch. For evening you can wear them with a sexy shirt and heels for going out to dinner or a party.
To beat the heat, lightweight cotton tops are definitely the way to go in warmer temps. They are soft and more importantly they breathe, so we keep our cool. Trendy styles vary from tanks to V-necks and from super casual to dressy.
The easiest way to get dressed is to slip on a summer dress. You don’t have to think about which top to wear with which bottom—you just put it on with some cute accessories and go.
