Spring is in the air and it’s time to freshen up your look. Check out my favorite fashion trends this season and spring forward with a renewed sense of style!
- Pink Hot! If you’re a girly girl, you will be happy the hottest color for spring is pink. Any shade of pink is on trend, especially paired with coral, beige or navy.
- Urban Safari: We all know the city can be a jungle, so wear this trend and navigate it perfectly. Think lots of khaki, beaded accessories and leather in earthy shades. Top it off with something coral or hot pink to make it pop.
- Eco-Chic: Green is the new black, meaning you can wear things that are kind to our planet yet look chic.
- Pulled Together: According to my favorite American designer, Michael Kors, it’s time to be neat and polished. Use your ladylike basics, but pair them with something unexpected like patent leather or even animal print.

- Classic Black & White: This classic color combo is loved by all and can easily be done by anyone for a look that’s stylish yet effortless.
- Cardigans & Vests: Anyone who’s looked at a celebrity entertainment magazine in the past month knows that cardigans and vests are all the rage. So, button up and add dimension to an outfit plus provide the extra warmth we need this time of year.
- Leggings, Ruffles & Zippers oh my! Styles of the eighties were about more than just big shoulder pads. These trends are making their way back from the era that made mall hair big.
- Statement Shoes were key last fall and remain so moving into spring. They are bold, over the top and never make you feel fat!
- Jumpsuits & Rompers: One-piece takes on a whole new meaning. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they’re back. If you’re like me, you did the trend once and don’t feel the need to do it again, but we certainly appreciate it on others.
- Recessionista’s Rock! Style mavens should be aware of the economy and how it has affected all Americans. Be proud of getting a great deal on something fabulous. Consider shopping your own closet and donating goods to help those in need. (Need a Closet Edit? Let me help you reorganize.)
